DLP Technology

The first LCD system was created by suspending liquid crystal between two panels of glass, which allows the passage of light to filter through. Charged by electricity, the liquid crystal systematically blocked and reflected light, engaging a full spectrum of color.

Working much like the basic systems of DLP and CRT technology, LCP monitors are made up of small, reflective chambers that are called pixels. The difference with LCP technology is that these chambers are created from crystal.

Once light is charged through the basic red, green and blue pixels, it reflects to create a beautiful and rich rainbow of colors.

LCD Televisions

Today, LCD technology is used in PC and laptop monitors, as well as television and movie projectors.
