Digital Vision digital receivers and decoders to PBS

Digital Vision has received the first order for the delivery of BitLink digital television satellite receivers and decoders to PBS, the US based Public Broadcasting Service. The order value amounts to 2.5 million USD. The delivery will take place during the last quarter 2002.

PBS has placed the order in accordance with the general agreement that was signed in July between Digital Vision and PBS (press release July 23, 2002). The general agreement, with a contract value estimated to 5 million USD, is planned to be divided into three deliveries during a three-year period.

BitLink Professional HDTV Decoder meets the highest standards in picture quality, flexibility and reliability, for both HDTV and SDTV. The BitLink platform affords cable, satellite and terrestrial operators, plus new players, a cost effective and flexible way to transit to the DTV market.
