Toshiba takes the wraps off bold new line of advanced direct-view

Toshiba's comprehensive color TV lineup for 2002 spans all types of advanced display devices, from advanced analog TVs to a 10th anniversary line of reference-standard Cinema Series TVs featuring the highest-resolution projection TV ever offered to the consumer market, the 57-inch LCoS projection set. The new lineup includes 20 HDTV-Compatible sets, 13 widescreen (16:9) models, with an expanded selection of FST Pure "Purely Flat" sets, more widescreen (16:9) TVs, two high-performance plasma displays, as well as the company's first LCD set.

Ongoing Commitment To High-Performance Direct-View TV Toshiba is demonstrating its commitment to high-performance direct-view television in 2002 with a strengthened and newly designed line of analog and HDTV-Compatible direct-view sets. The company's new line of non-flat color TV sets now ranges from 13-inch portables to 36-inch SuperTUBE™ sets, with new double-baffle silver cabinetry on select 20-inch and larger models. In analog projection TV, Toshiba is introducing models in screen sizes ranging from 43 to 61 inches, all with a newly designed PowerFocus™ HD CRT.
