Alliance with Decisionmark enhances Zenith.Com

To help educate consumers about the growing amounts of free over-the-air high-definition television (HDTV) programming, Zenith Electronics Corporation has joined forces with Decisionmark Corp. to provide a unique interactive online electronic program guide (EPG) that highlights digital TV channels and programs.

Zenith’s new HDTV EPG, being launched this week, is a customized version of Decisionmark’s TitanTV.com Technology Retail Zone, the premier source of digital TV reception information. Consumers will be able to enter their address and quickly determine which local TV stations are broadcasting digitally, what programs are available in high-definition television (HDTV) and even suggestions about antennas for optimal DTV reception at their location.

Supporting Zenith’s goal of becoming the “ultimate high-definition authority,” this announcement comes on the heels of this month’s launch of Zenith’s largest advertising campaign to promote its digital products, which include the industry’s first integrated HDTVs under $1,500 and a broad selection of plasma displays, LCD TVs, HDTV monitors and set-top boxes.
