The MAXX 3000 comes with an onboard TV tuner, and has a 3D-Comb filter, progressive scan, 3:2 Pull Down, and closed caption/V-chip. Other features include selectable color temperatures, auto channel scan, a sleep timer, and twin picture-in-picture (PIP), Zoom in PIP, and Small PIP.

Inputs for the display include RF, DB-15, 3.5mm phone jack, composite, S-Video, component, and DVI. A built-in 7-watt amplifier powers the two integrated speakers. Besides stereo/SAP audio, stereo SRS (WOW) is included to create “virtual surround.”
