Terk TV55 HDTV Antenna Offers Great Reception

The sleek, compact new TERK TV55 antenna provides exceptional HDTV reception, whether mounted outdoors on a rooftop, under an indoor or outdoor windowsill, or in any number of locations near or away from a TV. The first antenna ideally designed for apartment dwellers, the TV55 offers total placement flexibility and utilizes advanced TERK antenna technologies for clear, powerful reception of both HDTV and conventional analog signals.

In addition to traditional rooftop mast-mounting, the TV55 can be easily mounted indoors or outdoors on virtually any flat surface, including under a windowsill or on an inside wall, making it ideal for urban apartments and condominiums as well as freestanding houses. The antenna's specially designed flat coaxial connecting cable virtually disappears when placed against any flat surface, blending seamlessly with the interior décor.

The TERK TV55 utilizes TERK's breakthrough helical coil technology to achieve its compact, unobtrusive design while maintaining the performance of the large antenna element that is necessary to capture low frequencies (VHF broadcasts). In addition, TERK's patented Dual-Mode ultra-low noise amplifier allows users to select the optimum gain setting for maximum reception of HDTV and analog signals. The amplifier can be set to high-gain mode to correct for signals that are too weak, or bypassed for optimum reception of strong signals. The amplifier is connected directly to the antenna element for the shortest signal path and lowest noise.
