March 12, 2004 By: Kate Doyle Xilinx helps Evertz accelerate time-to-market and provide customers with field upgradabilityXilinx Inc. announced today that Evertz Microsystems, a leading provider of dynamic digital video (DV) equipment for the film and television broadcast industry, chose Xilinx Platform Virtex FPGAs to deliver its latest portable digital to analog converter for HDTV. Evertz chose the Xilinx Virtex family of FPGAs for their high-performance DSP capabilities and field upgradability.
